Support for SRPs and Confined Space Management

P2W fully supports the Safety Rules and Procedures (SRPs) defined by Defence Estates to control work in a safe manner across all estates that come under the jurisdiction.  The web based nature of P2W allows monitoring across many smaller sites from a central location, allowing the identification of patterns of use that require further investigation.  This benefit is further enhanced by the P2W Journal, which automatically records and timestamps all actions performed on a permit.  This Journal can be examined remotely to allow external auditors to arrive on site fully prepared to address the real issues immediately, without first having to trawl through endless piles of paper.

An interesting use of some of the advanced capabilities of P2W can be seen in this sector, where the conflict detection facility within P2W is being used to improve the management of confined space work during the building of ships.
